Small Family Farm
For as long as I can remember, I have loved cows. Growing up, I helped my mum and grandad milk theirs, and I always dreamed of bringing them back to Higher Colston Farm. I wanted to create a small, gentle dairy where every cow is known by name, their personalities shine through, and calves stay by their mothers’ side.
That dream has finally become a reality. Today, our Jersey and Jersey cross cows, Kaja, Lowenna, Kerensa, Buttercup, Rosie and Bowie, produce deliciously creamy raw milk that is unpasteurised, unhomogenised and naturally full of goodness.
Our cows are milked just once a day, while their calves remain with them for at least five months. They graze freely on 100% pasture made up of traditional meadow grasses and diverse herbal leys, producing milk that truly reflects the land they roam.
